Amy M. Allen-Chabot, Ph.D., R.D.
|Dr. Allen-Chabot has her undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Virginia Tech and her Masters and Doctoral Degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Maryland. She has several years of experience with the Marriott Corporation, working in both clinical dietetics and hospital foodservice management. She also has considerable academic experience teaching nutrition and foods at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and at the University of North Florida, where she also directed the graduate dietetics internship program. She currently teaches full-time at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. Her areas of expertise include weight management, diet for prevention of chronic disease and nutrition labeling.||
