September 16, 2000	I have just been made aware of twelve (12) scholarships that are available for students who want to major in real estate.  They are available through the Real Estate Educator's Association (REEA).  IF you would like information regarding these scholarships please phone or email me and I will bring copies of the information to class.  If you don't qualify this year maybe you will next year.  REEA offers these scholarships on an annual basis.
	I told you in class about the Legislative Internship Program for College Students.  It is an opportunity to work during the Maryland General Assembly's Legislative Session (January 10, 2001 - April 9, 2001).  You will receive college credits and a stipend for your time.  I have a copy of the application. the deadline is October 31, 2000.  If you are interested   please phone or email me and I will bring copies of the information to class.
