	Write a brief report that includes information requested.
	Attach the pages where you found the answer including highlighted areas that were you found the answer to the question.
	Questions to answer: How long does it take to go from being a patrolman to a detective? What additional things does a detective need to know? When was the last homicide in Cranford County? How did they discover who the victim was? What is the 48 hour rule? Name the six steps in a homicide investigation. What was the alleged murderer John Turner) going to have for breakfast the morning after his arrest? Who is John Turner's attorney? What is hidden at the John's apartment that has him so upset and makes him want to get home before they have a search warrant? How was the victim murdered? Where did the detectives get a lead that a politician might be involved in the death of Julliann? What did the detectives think his motive was if he were the murderer. Who issued the search warrant for Assemblyman Richard's house? What items did they find that led to his arrest? What four things does a judge take into account in determining the amount of bail for a particular defendant? How many people were on the grand jury that indicted Assemblyman Richards? Who was the District attorney assigned to the case? What was the term that was used to describe what the grand jury would return if a majority of them agreed with the prosecutor? Based on the indictment, what were the charges against Assemblyman Richards? Why did the Judge ultimately decide to deny bail? How many people were selected for the jury? Why didn't the alternates know they were alternates? What is the name for a criminal trial when the accused elects not to have a jury? What state pays the most to jurors? Who is the Judge for the trial of Assemblyman Richards? Who are his attorneys? Who was the first witness called at the trial? What did the defense try to show to help their client? Name five (5) common objections at Trial. What plea did Assembyman Richards finally accept? How long might he spend in jail? Why did he agree to the plea bargain? If he hadn't taken the plea bargain what three things might have happened at the end of the jury trial?
