The Congress of the United States passes statutes that form the basis for Federal Statutory Law .
 
It is imperative that a paralegal understand what statutory law is and where it can be located. 
All of the power of any branch of the government stems from the constitution of that government.

How many Senators are there?
How long do they serve?
How many members are there in the House of Representatives?
How long do they serve?
How long does Congress last?
How many sessions are there?
Does a bill become law if the President does not sign it?
What is "sine die"?
How many votes does it take to override a presidential veto?
