Valentine v. On Target
112 Md. App. 679, 686 A.2d. 636 (1996)

You must locate the case in print media. You will fin the case in a library that has the Maryland Appellate Reports, Maryland Reporter and/or the Atlantic Reporter.  After retrieving the case from print media see if you can access it on the Internet. It would be a good test of your abilities if you could find it both in print media and also on the internet.  It is not necessary for the assignment so do not panic. It can also be accessed  through the Maryland Judiciary website by searching for opinions, by accessing Lexis, and by using Westlaw.
Before beginning your required brief there are two things you should do. First, read chapter 7 regarding the tort of negligence. Second, read and complete the PowerPoint hyperlinked here.
You will need to find the case and read it before you read the brief.
