Treaties

In order for the treaty to be binding the President must execute the treaty and the Senate must approve it by a 2/3 vote. 

Executive Orders

An order or regulation issued by the President, Governor, or some administrative authority under his/her direction for the purpose of interpreting implementing or giving administrative effect to a provision of the constitution or of some law or treaty.

Administrative Law

This comes from administrative agencies. These agencies are created by an enabling statute (legislation) passed by Congress.

Administrative agencies have powers associated with all three branches of the government:
1. Rulemaking (Legislative)
2. Investigation and Enforcement (Executive)
3. Hearings (Judicial)
