Dear Real Estate Licensee,

I am delighted that you chose to attend this Professional Standards class.  It shows that you are interested in maintaining standards in the real estate industry.  It is my task to acquaint you with the complaint procedure that a consumer would follow when filing a complaint against a licensee, the unlicensed employee of the broker and/or the Real Estate Guaranty Fund.  In addition, we will examine as many actual Real Estate Commission cases as time will allow.

I have chosen the Internet as the media for this presentation because all of the information a consumer or licensee would need to know regarding the basis for a complaint, the process, and the forms used to file a complaint are available in this fast growing media.  I would like to show you how easily this information can be obtained.

During the academic year I maintain this interactive Website for my students.  Feel free to visit at any time.   The Web address is www.aacc.cc.md.us/lgsdamallick/convention.htm or www.aacc.cc.md.us/lgsdamallick/default.htm.   I ask that you take the time to sign-in when you visit so that I can determine if the site is a valuable resource for the real estate community.  I will continue to maintain and expand the site if there is sufficient interest.

I look forward to your visit.

Sincerely,

Darlene Mallick
