During racing season (May-October) Ed races her Wednesday nights with the Magothy River Sailing Association (MRSA), and in various Chesapeake Bay-wide weekend races. 

Occasionally he goes north (Block Island Race Week in Rhode Island) or south (Down The Bay race from Annapolis to Norfolk or Charleston Race Week in South Carolina). 

In recent years he's been very successful in the Governor's Cup race (Annapolis to St. Mary's).
