BIO 103 General Botany M. Stephen Ailstock 410/647/3823 Home 410/777/2230 Office 410/777/4012 FAX 4 credit hours Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory weekly; one semester. An introduction to
members of the plant kingdom and their closest relatives. A study of
the unique life strategies of plants that are the basis for their importance
to man and their role in shaping global ecology. Through an examination of
plant form and function, students will learn how and why plant life defines
