Answer and Explanation
Some of the electrons will transfer from the plastic to one of the metal spheres, giving it an overall negative charge (it has more electrons than protons). The neutral sphere has an equal number of protons and electrons. However, the negatively charged sphere will repel some of the electrons in the neutral sphere, as shown below. The negatively charged sphere will then be attracted to the positive part of the neutral sphere.
