TIPS FOR SCIENCE STUDENTS

1. Always attend class.

2. Know your professor's office hours and office location.

3. Read the syllabus and note important dates.

4. Take notes. Rework your notes as soon as possible after class.

5. Use the textbook!!!

6. Answer all questions and solve all problems in the textbook.

7. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

8. Use the Science Tutoring Center (DRGN 5)

9. Get help promptly!

10. Visit the Student Help Page of AACC Sciences Web Page.
       

11. Form Study Groups.

12. Study effectively: no TV, no phone calls, no daydreaming.

13. Read lab experiment procedures before coming to lab.

14. Finish Lab Reports as soon as possible after lab.

15. Set a time schedule for large projects.

16. Avoid procrastination.

17. Take good care of yourself: eat right & exercise.

18. Get a good night's sleep before the exam.
